Unique does not begin to describe this car. With only 918 units ever produced, the Porsche 918 Spyder is one of the most sought after hyper cars in the world. Featuring one of the rarest specification combinations in the world, finished in the iconic Acid Green and fitted with the optional weight-reducing Weissach Package, this car represents one of only two combinations in existence.
An engineering masterpiece, and introduced at the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show, the 918 was Porche’s latest attempt to reset the benchmark for automotive excellence. Their goal was to build a car that would provide race car acceleration, precision handling, and long-range fuel economy whilst also powered environmentally friendly drivetrain.
This hybrid hypercar will go accelerate from 0-100 in a blistering 2.5 seconds, and top out at an astounding 350km/h. This is, in part, thanks to the exclusive Weissach Package. Every single nut, bolt, panel and part has been substituted or removed in Porche’s pursuit of the ultimate driving machine. Indeed, the 918 Spyder that set the lap record for a street-legal production car of 6:57 at the Nürburgring 12.8-mile course was equipped with the very same Weissach Package.
Originally delivered to Dubai in September 2015 and maintaining delivery kilometres, this pristine example would suit the most fastidious collector.
